Intro<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

We\u2019ve all been there. You receive a scanned PDF set of drawings and the paper clearly went into the scanner at a bad angle. It\u2019s skewed a little bit, or a lot of bits, and it causes a little itch in the back of your mind. You try to ignore it, but it eats as you every time you look at these drawings. Three hours later your coworkers find you a drooling mess over in the corner.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

No? Just me? Ok, cool.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

All joking aside, sometimes you just need to straighten out that scan that isn\u2019t quite right. Thankfully it\u2019s super simple. Let\u2019s get to it.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

How to Deskew<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

To deskew a PDF in Bluebeam, either:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Option 1<\/p>\n\n\n\n

  1. Right-click<\/strong> on the page thumbnail<\/li>
  2. Click Page Setup<\/li>
  3. Select which page to deskew<\/li>
  4. Click Next<\/strong><\/li>
  5. Click Get Line<\/li>
  6. Click two points on the page that should<\/em> be perfectly horizontal with each other.<\/li><\/ol>\n\n\n\n

    Option 2<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    1. Use keyboard shortcut CTRL+ALT+D<\/strong><\/li>
    2. Click two points on the page that should<\/em> be perfectly horizontal with each other.<\/li>
    3. Click Next<\/strong><\/li>
    4. Click OK<\/strong>.<\/li><\/ol>\n\n\n\n

      Pro tip:<\/strong> choose two points as far apart as possible to increase accuracy.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
