Tuesday Tidbits will help you fill in those gaps. Every Tuesday, I\u2019ll teach you simple techniques that you can learn in under 10 minutes and implement immediately to improve your workflow.<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Intro<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Bluebeam has this really sweet feature that allows you to copy from one page and then <em>paste in the exact same location<\/em> on another page.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>A few examples of when this is useful:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>You drew a column layout on the 1<sup>st<\/sup> floor plan and want to copy the columns to the 2<sup>nd<\/sup> floor plan.<\/li><li>If you receive a revision, you can take a Bluebeam snapshot (keyboard shortcut <strong>G<\/strong>) on one plan and copy the snapshot to the new plan to quickly compare changes.<\/li><li>You want to copy items from a drawing titleblock or a document header to additional pages.<\/li><li>You made a bunch of markups on a document and someone gives you an updated document before you\u2019re done, you can paste-in-place on the new document for each page rather than copy-and-paste individual markups.<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Paste in Place<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>You can paste paste-in-place using the keyboard shortcut <strong>CTRL+SHIFT+V<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>This works when selecting any number of markups (see <a href=\"https:\/\/lizlarsen.me\/bluebeamblog\/2021\/04\/13\/selecting-markups-using-4-different-methods\/\">Selecting Markups Using 4 Different Methods<\/a> for some tips on this) or when taking screenshots using the Bluebeam keyboard shortcut <strong>G<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>However, it should be noted that although it\u2019s possible to select markups from multiple pages, <em>they can only be pasted-in-place to a single page<\/em>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In the GIF below I\u2019m filling out title block info, copying the markups, pasting-in-place on the following page, and editing as necessary.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large is-style-default\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"750\" height=\"750\" src=\"https:\/\/lizlarsen.me\/bluebeamblog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/04\/12_paste_in_place.gif\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-387\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Conclusion<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>So did you already know this tip?
