Every Tuesday, I\u2019ll teach you simple techniques that you can learn in under 10 minutes and implement immediately to improve your workflow.<\/em><\/p>\n<h2>Intro<\/h2>\n<p>Today\u2019s Tuesday Tidbits might be short and sweet but, if you don\u2019t already know this tip, I\u2019m about to revolutionize how you make markups in Bluebeam. Think I\u2019m exaggerating? Well read on, dear internet friend. You\u2019re about to learn how to copy and paste markups like a mother effing wizard.<\/p>\n<h2>Super Quick Copy-Paste with Keyboard Shortcuts<\/h2>\n<p>If you have a markup or a group of markups that you\u2019d like to duplicate, the quickest way to do that is with CTRL or CTRL+SHIFT.<\/p>\n<p>First, select the markup(s) you want to copy, then hold either CTRL or CTRL+SHIFT and drag the markup. Continue to hold down the keyboard shortcuts and click and drag as many times as you need to. That\u2019s it! Super simple, super quick.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>CTRL \u2013 when you want to copy a markup and freely place it anywhere<\/li>\n<li>CTRL+SHIFT \u2013 when you want to copy a markup perfectly in line at 90\u00b0 angles from the original markup<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><em>Bonus tip<\/em>: If markups need to be evenly spaced, select the markups you need, right-click on one of them, and choose Alignment \ud83e\udc16 Distribute Horizontally\/Vertically.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone wp-image-167 size-full\" src=\"https:\/\/lizlarsen.me\/bluebeamblog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/02\/copy_ctrl.gif\" alt=\"\" width=\"888\" height=\"630\" \/><\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-168\" src=\"https:\/\/lizlarsen.me\/bluebeamblog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/02\/copy_ctrl_shift.gif\" alt=\"\" width=\"888\" height=\"630\" \/><\/p>\n<h2>Conclusion<\/h2>\n<p>Honestly, this is my most commonly used feature of Bluebeam.
